Here is a recent image of Comet Holmes as captured by friend and astrophotographer Tom Muzydla (Copyright 2007).

Tom shot this from his backyard in Loveland, Colorado. The comet is presently in the constellation Perseus. As of this date the comet has no discernable tail, at least by ordinary means.

Very nice image! My son was a bit disappointed when he saw the comet. I’ll show him this image.
The bright dust tail is pointed directly away from the Earth. Winsome, lose some.
