    I was reading about exoskeletons somewhere, I think it may have been Wired, but apparently one issue is the fact that there is a slight delay when moving as the operator has to move before the machine knows what to do.

    Also, that robot dances far better than I probably ever will.

    I was interested to see that a division of Raytheon was working on this. Exoskeletons as armament seems contrary to the trend of standoff weaponry. An “augmented” soldier still has to get up and personal with the item of interest. Oops. Sorry, I automatically assumed that a defense contractor would have military applications in mind for this kind of development.

    I suppose Wal-Mart could use these exoskeletons one day to move inventory around or better yet, a carpenter might use it to lift a truss while framing. The new yellow “Dewalt Truss-Buster”.
