You know, Facebook is not the place for critical analysis. It’s for idle chitchat. It’s the chat kiosk at the mall across from Abercrombie & Fitch.
I’m done now.

Mississippi secceded from the Union and Donald Trump bought Libya.
yes, but it is a great place to watch how the socially inept self-destruct
I would take intelligent commentary wherever I can find it – there’s not enough of it to be picky about where you find it.
Perhaps it’s analogous to metallurgy – trying to find ppb of intelligence in a sea of ore. Facebook isn’t the first choice of veins, but since we can’t seem to find much at all (let alone intelligence alloyed with enough strength to be able to use it for something), I’ll take it where I can get it.
I think my problem with FB has more to do with me than FB or the folks I’m connected to. I’m uncomfortable with it but I just can’t identify why it is.
Gaussling, you put on a terrific casual facade for someone so uncomfortable in so many social settings. A great actor indeed!
Thank you. There is something I can’t put my finger on regarding FB. It’s not a good place for fringe dwellers.
