Strangely enough, some of us in my lab were just looking at that video this afternoon. Wouldn’t it be nice if Wii-motes could be used for chemistry visualization?
It would be pretty cool if molecules could be rotated and docked using a graphic user interface similar to that used in the “Minority Report”. At least without the future crimes aspect.
Sounds like we’ve got many of the future crimes things working.
As for the GUI, it’s an interesting idea. There’s definitely a need for tools which bring new ideas to the table. We’ve had the same rendering modes and docking tools for years.
